[NBR] I hate airports

Post by Kaos »

Yeah, I've been sitting in Phoenix Sky Harbor for 2 hours now. They say I've got 2 hours more till I can board.... Something wrong with the pilot apparently.... Sometimes I hate flying....

All things considered, I think I'd wait for everything to be RIGHT with the pilot!

I hate airports too. Seems like I spend my whole life at them.

Bummer. I hope you're in Terminal 4, where at least there are plenty of shops and restaurants. They usually have an art exhibit, I forget exactly where. If you are going to be waiting hours, it might be worth it to go back out to the main concourse and wander. Just allow enough time to go back through security.

At least there's an open WiFi network at Sky Harbor (at least there is in T4), so you can surf for scooter porn

I once spent 25 hours in the Amarillo, TX airport. I still have nightmares...

Spent the night in O'Hare. I loved that United used a certain religious symbol as an excuse for poor customer service.

Yes, luckily I was in Terminal 4, so there WAS stuff to do. :)

If there is any way to get someplace without flying - I do it. I would ratehr drive for two days than be subject to airport and airline incompetency and rudeness

Thats a bit hard when traveling with a 2 year old and the wife. If it'd been me by myself, I'd have borrowed a motorcycle from a friend and cruised down there in style ;)

I spent 4 hours in O'Hare last week. Pure hell. It would have been faster for me to drive home.

I got into a nice verbal altercation with one of the TSA jackasses. And they are jackasses.

I seriously thought about doing the TSA Message plates idea, but figured in the end, it probably wasn't worth getting extra friendly with a TSA screener....

It's the smell of the most powerful cleaners trying hard to cover the vomit smell...and failing.
