Buddy rear shock absorber

Post by hooligan »

Does anyone know where the supplememtal gas shock helper is available for a Buddy 50?

I have seen such an item that looks like it may be gas filled, and mounts on the top of the stock rear shock absorber.

Any help is appreciated.

The best shock for the buddy you will ever find. Made by YSS.

230 dollars

What did you notice about the change in your ride that makes you say it's the best shock for the Buddy? Did you also change out the front shock? Which would you do first - front or rear?

Inquiring minds....

Thanks -

I dont own it, but by best, I mean what is available for purchase in the USA, and fits the buddy.

I have no problems with the standard forks and shocks, they could be better, but I dont mind them at all to purchase a new suspension system.

By best, I meant because it's high quality from YSS, and it has a nitrogen tank, this will give the smoothest ride.

Thanks, jfrost2. I'm a bit unhappy with the ride on my Buddy which is why I asked. I think front forks maybe the best initial investment for me.
