Actually this is the second time I have been published....but first time as a co-author. The other was in a photography book published by an online Canon photography forum.

Congratulations! I've got a couple books tucked away in my brain and hope someday to join the ranks of yourself and a lot of my friends who've been published.

I'm an avid reader, but I hope you'll forgive me if I don't pick this one up… It's a little outside my sphere… :)

I'll be pleasantly surprised if there are more than 3 or 4 members who get this without going to Wikipedia or Google.

I will admit that I learned of him because I have been told that before. Usually I get the John Lennon or Rodger Daltry.

  • -Roger Daltry has (had?) the long curly hair.
-Lennon had the big, round glasses (but not the eyes).
-Only David Lindley has them both.

No pictures of me and the BlackJack together yet, but I do have one on the old Ruckus.

Image

Going back over some former posts in this thread... (1) You guys are intimidatingly good-looking. (2) Maybe you want to know something about me?

I'm a geek married to a wonderful, fun-loving, tolerant woman who picked up her Buddy Pamplona at the same time I got my BlackJack. (We both rode 50cc scooters for a few years.) Living and working in urban Pittsburgh, they are practical as well as fun. Neither of us are very mechanically inclined (yet) so we like the simplicity of modern four-strokes with automatic transmissions.

I work with SQL Server databases to fund my exorbitant video game playing habit. I'm an atheist, a vegetarian, and a political progressive. I was a DJ and accused "goth" once upon a time.

May as well get my first post out of the way. :)

I'm Bonnie, a 22 year-old with my first seafoam 125! He's about a month old. I'm engaged to a scooterless waiter named Ethan, and we live with an MP3 owner who frequents modernvespa. :P

Here's me and my boy, about a week ago!

Image

I'm really not that much of a douchebag, but said MP3 owner was demanding I vogue it up. :P

Edit: Should've mentioned...I'm a Wildlife and Fisheries major at the University of Tennessee--Knoxville. I like fish. :3

thanks. we were in the studio for that shot, i'd never actually ride with the dogs. they didn't even really like being in the basket when the scooter was stationary. I only fired about 3 frames before they both jumped out.

My friend just emailed me this pic today and it's the only one I've got of me and the scoot. It's from the only long ride I've done yet, about 200 miles around the Texas hill country. I remembered this thread and thought I'd join in.

And if anyone cares, I'm 25, married with a son on the way this June, and this is my first 2-wheeler (so far I'm having a blast!).
