No way! Is there going to be a stig duel? Will the American Stig get to weigh in?? Inquiring minds want to know!

I think the American Stig should be blue. Then a pink girl Stig, and a red one. Maybe a yellow. Then they can drive Voltron. Or be Power Rangers.

Sadly the American Stig is fat and lives in a trailer park:

Whilst I'm learning my way with the new scoot, I'm still bussing-it to work and I go by an orange scooter (just realized is was a Buddy) every day. 15th Ave NW. Not sure of the cross street - NW 75th maybe. Buddy's are pretty. :bat:

I was on my way to beat the crowds at Laurel Tavern.

I just got back from a long weekend in San Francisco! There were scooters everywhere!!!! I am in love with that city! :3
Saw a good nuber of Buddys for such a short trip too:

Black and silver - parked on the street, inner Richmond

Pink - female rider with pink and white gear, spotted from that bar with the Jack Kerouac tile outside

Seafoam - male rider crossing the Golden Gate Bridge as I was walking!

Red - parked on the street somewhere

Pamplona - riding by some street while I was on the bus

These were all seen between Thursday and Sunday. The details are sketchy. I blame the fantastic selection of bars ya'll have. All I did was eat, drink and walk around all day. Greatest trip ever.

After driving by bldg 50 for a couple of months I finally caught the other ORANGE Buddy owner here at work! (She works much later than I do! I think I need to work harder. I only caught her last night because she had to run an errand and was just getting back when I was leaving for the night!)

Beaverton is filled with ORANGE buddies! (not really, but 3 of us work within blocks of each other...)

Yeah, its kinda bizarre that there's that many Orange Buddies in that small of a radius. I'm kinda surprised I don't see you around more often :)

We took a 10% pay cut so I'm trying to pack lunches as much as possible.

Once the sun starts coming out so I don't have to rain-gear up, I'll probably head out during lunch more often.

sooo I think Richmond, Va has a huge scooter scene (yayyy scoot richmond!) if its over 40 degrees i see at least 2 buddys, a stella, and another rough house, and on really warm days iv scene 2 different black cats, lots of rough houses, dozens of buddys, rattlers, vespas, lambrettas, those random qingqai things, honda metropolitans (thats was the metor maids drive as well) ruckus, yamahas (im not sure of the makes) and dozens of tomos' and mio's, however richmond car drivers treat scooters like there invis

The meter-maids ride scooters now?!!!? That's HORRIBLE for scooterists. We want to encourage people to share the road, not go into a fit of rage at the mere sight of us! Man, I need to stay away from downtown!

I still have the instinct to bum rush those 3-wheeled contraptions that they had when I went to VCU; just to see if I can tip it over. I couldn't even park within a block of my own apartment without fearing a ticket...

Grr.

I saw my first scoot of the season in Minneapolis last night!

A black 50cc (I'm assuming) Honda parked at a bike rack in front of Rock Bottom Brewery on 9th & Hennepin downtown. Yay!

Red 125 parked at Firkin and Friar. There is a BoSox tag on the left side. I was leaving with some coworkers and was stupidly pointing it out.

Last week I saw a black buddy heading south on 5th by Market and a yellow one heading south on Broad by City Hall.

Parking at work is going to get difficult soon. I parked all winter long with just a Triumph and LX150 for company. Spring!

Give a wave next time. I get all warm and happy when I get the scooter greeting.

It was probably my boyfriend on it. He likes taking it to work, he works on Balboa. He loves riding the pink scooter, he enjoys the looks he gets.

I see a Sunset Buddy parked all the time on 15th St. NW between NY Ave and H... She's a little worse for wear with a cracked front faring (jousting accident, perhaps?). Little does she know her evil twin sister is parked right around the corner!

As soon as sprummer hits here, I'm sure Buddys will be poppin up like sidewalk tulips. I did see a rockin yellow LX150 in my usual parking spot on 14th & NY Ave.

Saw a scooter today that wasn't me or somebody riding with me!!! It was a blue and black chinese scoot with a nice fellow that beeped his
horn at me. I gave a nod since I was caught off guard and brain didn't register to wave or honk back. Alright the more scooters the better!

Last night: Orange Buddy, on Beverly (maybe?) in LA. Rider had a white helmet with an orange stripe. So matchy!

Black Buddy pulling into the Grove parking garage. Maybe has a pipe? Sounded loud. I was sitting outside at the Whisper Lounge, drinking some horrific concoction with blueberries in it.

I think I saw that same orange Buddy yesterday near the Beverly Center going south on La Cienega.

Also saw a black Buddy about a week ago in Marina Del Rey.

I FINALLY SAW ONE!!!

I try to post here every time I see a scooter (which isn't that often). Usually it is an unknown chinese scooter or
the occassional Vespa. Today I finally saw a buddy! I was going down Davis Hwy and there was a St. Tropez going
the opposite direction. I don't know if they saw me since there were like 5 lanes of traffic between us, but hooray!

I also saw a couple Silverwings at a gas station I passed somewhere in Pace.
Hopefully I will be seeing a lot more as it continues to warm up.

Ok, so it wasn't a Buddy, but I *DID* see a "fireball" Stella in Lake Oswego yesterday.
