Heh, I'd try chasing it in my car. Though its top speed is faster than my car's too.... But with traffic, maybe.

The Atom is kinda the working man's super car. No frills cheap for a supercar, faster than sin in Vegas....

Unfortunately ... that's not going to happen for a while on a grad student's and computer guy's salary for quite some time. Maybe in time for my midlife crisis ...

So this thing is actually legal to drive on public roads here in the U.S.? How about in California where "high performance cars" are frownded upon by the local government? How much does it cost?

I don't know specifically about California, but it *IS* street legal in the US in general. It costs about $65000.

Umm, actually according to the specs, its slower than the Atom. Its 0-60 time is a 1/2 a second slower.

And it's an order of magnitude more expensive.

Yea, i noticed that too, but I meant looks wise.

KTM also makes a similar car to the atom, I forgot it's name, but it looks just as sharp, it uses a audi engine to power the vehicle, so far it's European because of limitations audi has put on KTM.
