LA area: Derby Dolls Ride, March 28

Spring has sprung and the weather is great so it's time to get riding again! This is an all-scooters friendly ride around Silverlake and Echo Park that will end up at the Derby Dolls rollerderby match at the Doll Factory on Temple. Thanks to Molly Taylor for suggesting this ride!

We'll be meeting in the parking lot of the Starbucks at Glendale, Fletcher and Silver Ridge on the edge of Silverlake. (This is the lot shared with a Ralph's. Don't confuse with another Starbucks.)

After the Derby Dolls match, we'll be heading out for a post-bout for a bite and to hang out and socialize.

If anyone has suggestions for pre-bout ride route and post-bout destination, let me know. I will update the info on this page and on the Meetup Group page for the event.

The Derby Dolls match is 21+ (sorry, younger members). Standing-room tickets are $17. VIP tickets are $40.
Please buy tickets online in advance (links below). These matches do sell out before the day of the bout.
Punk rock/alt country/all around icon John Doe of X, the Knitters, etc. will be singing the national anthem!
