2003 Stella is Sputting out if I do not keep giving it gas

Post by Stella33 »

How it began. I noticed I was running on the last of reserve tank. At this point "she" was already acting a little testy. I gave "her" some gas and she continued the testyness like "she" wants to not run.
She has a little over 800 miles And was running perfect before.
Can you PLEASE help me on what I can do to get "her back to normal. :D thank you

So did you fill the tank up, turn it back to normal (off of reserve) and it still is sputtering?

I'd say it's really possible running that low on a tank that some funk made it into your jets.

I'd pull your jets and spray things out really well.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. If it's been filled up, so that is not the issue... then something that had settled down at the bottom of the reserve portion of the tank has gotten into your jets.

An easy task to clean them too.
