Arrivederci Italia :(
First, let me get this out of the way -
I didn't wanna do it, didn't think I'd have to do it, but a turn of events in my life has forced me to sell my Italia.
Either the Italia, or the Suzuki MC had to go, and since the MC is a bit more versatile in terms of what roads she can go on, she's staying on.
I have every intention of getting another scoot, in the hopefully not-too-distant future. Now that I'm comfortable riding a MC, I'm probably gonna be lookin' at a Stella, or perhaps an old Lambretta, if one appears at the right time in the right place. I'm diggin' the shifties.
In any event, I'm Buddyless as of tomorrow am. I'm grateful to Genuine, and this fantastic forum, for getting me into the world of two wheelers.
I hope ya'll don't mind me hangin' around, even though I won't have a club card for a while!
Now, it finally stopped raining in NY. I'm gonna go ride one last time, and try not to on the Pirate leather seat.
Peace and thanks!

Thanks LisaLisa. I'm lovin' my S40. It's sort of the Buddy of the MC world, bullet proof reliable design, inexpensive, easy ride, with a really nice , helpful user forum (suzukisavage.com). I'll miss the Italia, but I was riding the S40 much more. It's not so big that it's a pain to take on short trips, it's really quite manageable. Actually I'll miss being a scooterist as much as having a scooter - I kinda fit the vibe more than the MC crowd, generally speaking. It's all good though!LisaLisa wrote:FWIW... I covet the s40.
