I was thinking about doing something cool with mine... Not sure how to do it and still have it light-up right at night.

There are companies who do custom speedo plate working, but it's all for bikes they already have designs for, most dont do custom work,

I've seen lots of people do this for car speedometers too, they use the OEM plate as a template.

I saw a custom bobber in DICE magazine that only had the Dead Kennedys logo for a speedo...I was considering making a custom speedo and having my buddy that pinstripes and does lettering paint it. I was thinking something funny for the MPH's, no numbers just something like 'slow, fast, and tuck your head between your ass and kiss yoru butt goodbye'. Was also thinking for the gas gauge instead of full-let's roll and instead of empty- oh no. Then for turn signals was going to be right and for the left turn was going to be 'wrong'. I'm sure this sounds better in my head then it would actually turn out hence the reason it hasn't yet been done.

Ha, the turn signals should be Left and The Other Left

I remember that someone had done a custom Buddy Speedo a little over a year ago on here. I'll see if I can find the post. Is it me or does everyone seem to have problems with the search actually pulling up relevant posts?

I take my comments back about the search. I actually found it pretty quickly.

Yeah that's the only one I know of in existence on a Buddy.

I like it...I think I may have to try to mock up a template to really get an idea on how this is goign to work and look.
