I looked back through the entire Tag thread, because I thought the mural thing had been done a pretty short time ago (so I was going to make a smartass, only I think it's funny comment). But by the time I got to the end, your tag wasn't a mural, it was a music venue.

"What the devil?" I thought, "I'm losing it."

Then I saw your Downtown Nashville post and saw the exact mural I remember seeing. But the thread had that unread icon in front of it. Creepy. Must be some weird effect from watching Fringe.

Yeah after posting, it occurred to me that "a mural" had most likely already been done. And it had, so I swapped it out, but I guess not before you noticed something was amiss.

No biggie, and I had the pleasure of seeing all the Tag photos again, so thanks for that. But there was a few minutes there where I was thinking "WTF, I really need to get some more sleep." Ha!

I never have trouble seeing Photobucket pics but all I get are words. Tried to copy and paste but no good either. No problem, though, because you have "music Venue". Thanks!

Alright, I have had to drive the truck all week, schlepping stuff around for finals week at school (all my students projects & drawings to be graded), so I need to get off my butt and do this. Count on something soon.

Never could open the last picture. Are we still on Music Venue? Scooter in front of a music store, concert hall or record place, etc? I'm on my way...

We already did music store/record place. I took it more as concert hall type of thing - which I could get if I would just get around to it  !

I finally got the music venue. This is a park in the city where the city band performs once a week. It rotates and would be open when there is music.

The tag is any structure that is purely for decoration. Lets exclude fountains and statues from this.

Ahh, I feel better now. Gr8dog just gave me another reason to go out for a ride.

And personally, I can't think of many things less functional than the entrance to Skysong. (It's a little hard to see, but the Fiddle is on the road under that white mass of, uhh, white.)

And for a new tag, let's keep it in the function-free family and post your scoot with some public art. No fountains this time either please, but sculpture is (obviously) fine.

I think anything that keeps the Tag going is good, and anything that's not on the list above is even better.

I tell ya, the Phoenix metro area is huge, and this thread and the Hunt have taught me more about the Valley of the Sum in two years than I learned in the previous twenty!

Your pictures are fantastic!

Can we clarify the Tag is Farm Equipment or Farm Machinery. That way it's more specific to a particular Tag.

It should be easy for many people.

You can't really read it, but the sign next to the stable entrance says:
RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK. WE CARRY NO INSURANCE.
A true New York stable .

They used to have another lot, across the street where the construction is happening. It had a small outdoor ring and another barn. But the landlord sold it out from under them.

We live within walking distance. When my daughter was about 12-13, she took lessons here and volunteered on weekends. Besides doing the dirty work, she got to give pony rides up and down the block (on the sidewalk!) and keep any tips she got.

And the next tag . . .

Your scooter and barbed wire.
I took this a while ago (hence the bare trees), but I haven't gotten a tag for a long time, so I couldn't use it!

Nah, I'll leave this for someone else. I have an idea for a great tag, but I have to get there and take the pic.

Well, I rode over a hundred miles this morning from 5:30 before sunrise to 8:30am.
Went to the typical farmland spots to get my hay tag and alas, NO HAY ANYWHERE!!!
I guess it's not the right season for it since all the animals were eating fresh grass instead.
Figured I'd go ahead and post my photos even if they don't include hay, just for fun.

OK....finally found a single bale of hay!

<a href="http://s563.photobucket.com/albums/ss75 ... aybale.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/ss75 ... aybale.jpg" border="0" alt="Haybale"></a>

And since it's the 4th of July....go find a fireworks stand....quickly!

Image

OK sorry .... didn't think about all the states that have banned fireworks....and since it's now after the 4th, and most fireworks stands have disappeared, I'll replace the tag with this one......

How about a place to eat with outside "dining".

Eastland Cafe in East Nashville. If you have the opportunity, its definitely worth it.

<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v356/ ... C00414.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v356/ ... C00414.jpg" border="0" alt="scooter,Genuine Buddy,Eastland Cafe,East Nashville"></a>

and for the new hunt... favourite local coffee shop. This one is called Portland Brew. The picture quality is pretty rough because I had to shoot into the sun. You can see Sgt Pepper upfront, but someone else was rocking a really cool Orange and Cream buddy w/cowel protectors and white walls. Very classy.

You did not have to go far or wait for very long for that shot! AC&T is the only coffee shop I know of located right at a train crossing. I ride my Buddy up to AC&T and The Caboose every Wednesday. Hope to see you up there one of these days.

You're absolutely right. As I was leaving AC&T, I had to stop and wait for the train, so I thought.....why not? That would make a good tag.
Yeah....I'm still wondering about you scooting and drinking wine!!!!! I'll have to make an evening run up to the Caboose one Wed. to say HI.
