This thread is crazy. I see other Buddy pilots multiple times every day and see them parked all over the city. If I reported every last one of them it would take FOREVER.

Cream colored Buddy on 12th and Union Tuesday morning. This makes at least 4 Tacoma Buddies. We're taking over!

here's the garage at work:

<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v356/ ... atwork.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v356/ ... atwork.jpg" border="0" alt="scooter,Genuine Buddy"></a>

3 Buddy's (I got put in the corner cause I was late), a Sym HD200, a Kymco GrandVista 250, and a Honda Ruckus. There's also usually a Kymco People and there are two Honda Metro's that park w/the bicycles. We've taken over.

And occasionally one of these:

N.W. corner i saw a lone grey rattler among another dozen rides. i did pass a paparazzi and liked the look but hadn't heard of it before.

Really!? I have only seen one other Rattler in the valley ever, and it belongs to my coworker who copied me. That is awesome!

Spotted by NoHo Mike on our way from San Luis Obispo back to LA yesterday:

Buddy Pamplona tearing up the 101 North in Santa Barbara as we were southbound! Kudos! Odds of two Buddy Internationals passing in opposite directions on this busy freeway: pretty low.

Say a red buddy 50 on A1A in Cape Canaveral around 8:15 PM...turned off before the USA building (went west). Was in my truck, but I did do a feeble wave through my back window....

Spotted a powder blue buddy on the corner of Ponce and N. Highland yesterday at around 12:30. Sadly Victoria was not there to great her cousin since she's being stored at the in-laws for a week while they do construction around her parking spot.

On the upside I brought my helmet in with a sheered snap on the padding, and Twist n' Scoot replaced the whole fricking helmet! Damn these guys rock. :D

On Monday, a blue buddy 50 parked next to me as I was feeding the meter. Unfortunately there are so many of them here the other pilot didn't seem fazed by our encounter.

This morning a 2008 or 2009 Pamplona pulled up adjacent to me at around 4th and Folsom. We exchanged compliments and took off. I think the creamsicle metropolitan that also happened to be at that light felt left out

Sighting in NH

Post by prrfan53 »

There's an orange Buddy 125 (?) that's been seen in the Swanzey area of NH. So far it's the only other Buddy except ours in south-west NH. Hope he reads this list!

YAY! I finally saw a Buddy, and can post to this thread!

Orange Buddy, loaded to the gills with gear (I think I saw a sleeping bag)

Route 30 WB in Frazer, PA (near Paoli, Malvern, and heading toward Exton).

I was on my Black Buddy, but was on a perpendicular street, so they probably didn't see me. But if you did - let me know (PM me)!

Makes me wonder if that is the member that is taking his buddy cross country.

Went to the grocery store ( Vons on 30th Street) yesterday and parked next to an Italia identical to mine. I was hoping I would see the rider and strike up a conversation but when I came out, the scooter was gone.

Pink Buddy parked on the Main Plaza, across from the courthouse. Saw a white Stella there a couple of weeks back, too.

I see multiple scooters here in Portland every day, and I think at least two or three of them are Buddys. And there is now one more Buddy in Portland as of this past Thursday, mine! :)

Now that I think about it... I see a few parked Internationals in NW pretty much every day, and usually at least one buddy of some sort, either parked or moving, along with all of the other scooters around here. I work way out in industrial NW, and live in SE, that's my daily trajectory.

Noticed my first BlackJack a few nights ago, he was gassing up on W Burnside a few blocks west of Dante's...

Today I saw an orange buddy ahead of me in traffic, but then I got stuck at a red and I didn't catch up to him. While I was parking I saw a fellow Italia go by, but I don't think she/he noticed or cared.

saw my first buddy last week !

i mean, i've seen plenty over in cleveland area. but here in toledo.. nada.

i see vino's and vespas regularly, and sadly, plenty of chinese scoots as well.

well, two days in a row, i spotted an italia. both times it appeared to be the same guy.

1st day, i saw it sitting at an ice cream shop, but i was in my cage, and running late getting to my shop, so i didnt stop.

the next day, i saw the same guy, on the italia, about 2 blocks away from the ice cream shop.

i was in my cage again, and he passed me in the opposite direction.

i wished i woulda been on my st. tropez at the times, but i was waiting for a new rear tire at the time, thansk t othe kind people that leave screws in the road.

anyway, that was a few weeks back. and i havent seen it since. and its the only buddy i've ever seen in the area. searched the forum, but i only see one other member in the area, but not with an italia. :(

did the cream buddy come with a cream, stock back rack?

I saw either a cream or white buddy on the corner of Cannon & Carlsbad Blvd (Hwy 101) yesterday around 5pm. He was turning left and I right but he was at the front of that left line and I was 3 car lengths back on the right.

Stoked to see a buddy in Carlsbad!

Buddy sighting

Post by rondothemidget »

Over a year of riding and I finally saw my first Buddy on the road today - coming back from surfing in Seal Beach. It was a girl riding a cream colored Buddy with a sticker of the Hawaiian islands on the front "windshield." I see a few scooters a day in Orange County but this was my first Buddy sighting.

Hello there! Mine's a white one with black racks. I wear a Corazzo speedway jacket and a black helmet. I'm in the process of moving, so for the next week or so I'll have flattened cardboard boxes bungeed precariously to the ride... Feel free to say 'hi' if you see me.

I just realized that this weekend, due to the move, were the first days I hadn't ridden the buddy since I got it. I did more than 300 miles my first week with it, and now haven't ridden it for three days. Back on it in the morning!

Do they still do the black/silver combo? Or was that custom? It looks really sharp.

Had my first sighting since I got my buddy!
Ran into (not literally!) an olive-colored Stella in downtown Asheville while I was getting a hot dog from the sidewalk vendor. I had tried to pass it by, but then the smell got caught in my helmet. Had to pull a u-turn!
