Seat starting to crack! What can I do?

Post by bluefox »

Once a year, I touch up my 05' Stella to be in top condition. I don't mean wash it with soap and wax. I mean buy products to clean and shine every part (Pix tomorrow)

As I was cleaning it, I noticed a small crack in the front of the seat! I know the seat isn't leather, but hoping anyway, I went to the local store and bought some leather conditioner. But no luck. I was wondering if there was any leather/vinyl repair products that can fix my cracked seat issue. Anyone?

There are several 'kits' on the market, but the results are usually short of miraculous. Vinyl ages and then it finally breaks down and cracks. The only real solution is to have it recovered or replace it altogether. Sorry!

Here is one I used a couple of times.. again, not a real 'fix', but it will slow down the process a bit.
