Taking the plunge..... I am going all out custom!

Post by dsleedesign »

Starting tommorow I will be completely customizing my Buddy.

Currently it is a Black buddy:

It will be:
- Green (BMW Urban Green)
- Have Speakers and IPOD System
- Have additional Airhorn
- Custom Decals
- Renamed the "SwitchBlade"
- Chrome Grips
- Custom Speedometer. (probably wont make this tight deadline)
- Black Mirrors
- Digital Clock
- Flashing Rear Brake Light Modulator
- Line-x the rear floorboard (those silver oval pads)
- Removal of the dorky handlebar turn signals
- Custom License Mount
- Subframe "audio beat" lights (lights will dance to the music of the IPOD)
- Red Rims
- Black Fork.

Wish me luck. This will be the 9th custom 2 wheeled vechicle I have done in 4 years.....

Hoping to have this all done by the Minneapolis Rally 8/11-8/13

Would love to know more about the speakers and ipod system as you get things done. Thats the one thing I miss on the scooter is music.

Sounds like a great idea! Do you have pictures of your other custom vehicles?

Those the Lammie too and the 1980 Vespa. I have a thing for white walls on the right vehicle! Keep us posted on your Buddy project. I'm dying to see the process pictures. Like others, I am very interested in the iPOD feature and alarm.

Good luck with it!
