Common enough. Just not too common in Phoenix, is all. Not to worry.

Tree Canopy

I love riding through twisty roads that have the tree canopy above. Too bad I'm always the one taking the pictures as we ride through.

That is the same bridge. Were you getting the tag about 2pm? If so we followed you guy far about 2 miles until you turned right onto 82. How funny is that? Btw- we think we know where that smoke stack is.

So many buddy drivers in that area of Ohio, I don't think there are even that many in all of New York! Do you all ride together ever?

I got the smokestack photo this morning. I thought a panoramic would be nice.

Click the photo for a larger version.

And the tag is, a drive in restaurant. This one has the best root beer around. They make it themselves. I snapped this photo while on a ride with my daughter to Oshkosh the day before the EAA Convention began. We looped around the airport to watch the planes coming in. They were landing about three planes a minute and at any time you could see at least 20 planes in the air. We rode through the campground area (around 100,000 campers). Lots of people bring scooters to get around. Good ride that day!

Thanks Asburyjer. This is the first smokestack photo I took but I was not satisfied with it, hence the brick smokestack.

I will be playing as soon as my husband (Sleepy_Dave) and I get our Blackjacks. Financial Aid is covering transportation costs, or part of them anyways...and I figure that the Black Jack will be a good addition to our family. Can't wait to get out there and tag!

I went into work late today so I had time to get some shots. Here is the "Y".
Thats Buddy backed up onto the bike path, right in the crotch of the Y.

Please click the photo for a LARGER version.
The large version is 48 inches at 72 dpi so you will need to pan.

Now the tag is a marina.

When your daughter gets tired of Oshkosh, I'll make a Buddy date with you to the fly in. Its one of those events I keep missing year after year and hope to make some day.
Next year July 26 thru August 1. Better book a room now. The convention is a blast, even if you have little interest in aviation.

HAHA, oh snap! I actually got that photo the day after you posted it and forgot to put it on here! Thanks for reminding me...
Image

And for the new one... I was gonna do your scooter with a Chinese scooter for
sale on the side of the road, but since you can't see the for sale sign, how about:

YOUR SCOOTER WITH ANOTHER SCOOTER YOU'VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE
(not somebody who came to a group ride, just one in a parking lot or something)
Image

should be easy breezy right?

Hey KRUSTY, I like the white lettering on your tires. Did they come that way or did you paint them? If you painted them, does it hold up well?

Thanks, I painted it, and no... it doesn't hold up well, it's chipping off. I think if I do it a different way it might stay on longer.

erm... I dunno.

My original idea didn't work since you can't see the 'for sale' sign. So I figured I'd just change it to any scooter you
find while you're out riding around. Just not somebody like in your group that you already ride with... I guess.

If you live in an area like me, with very few scooters, this will be really hard. Or maybe you live somewhere it'll be stupid easy.

Picture of my scooter with a scooter parked in the parking lot. My husband and I went to a motorcycle shop to get some part for his scooter and there happend to be another scooter there so I got my scoot's picture by it :)

Image

Next... if this is too hard tell me and I'll post a different one.

Scooter by a Roller Coaster!
Image

I let my husband's scooter be included in the roller coaster picture since I didn't want to exclude him too badly today. He's painting it black today so it will look totally different next time I take any pictures with it!

Not hard at all when you live in Brooklyn. (whew, I was beginning to think I'd never get another tag!)

Now, how about this one? Your scooter and a president's tomb . (I'm sorry you have to look at me in the foreground - my husband actually took the pic.)

Best I could do is get a cemetery full of military crosses... guess that's not the same.

Oh yeah, and George Washington's only sister is buried in St. John's cemetery in Pensacola!
