Good info for a Buddy windshield found here... (Thanks!)

Post by Drumwoulf »

Well, unable to sell my 2007 Buddy (friggin' economy!!), I've decided to keep her as she's really still a damn whole lot of fun!

However I already sold my Cuppini windshield offa the scoot, so now that the NJ weather's turning cooler I needed another one.
But this time I checked thru MB via a search, and found a few recommendations for the Slipstreamer 66 windshield, which I never even heard of before...
And what's neat is that at $66.00 (+$9 SH) on sale at Powersport Superstore,
it's a whole lot cheaper than the Cuppini that's still going for $99 (+SH) at Scooterworks!

Thanks MB guys for some good info (once again!)... 8)
Namaste,
~drummer~

yeah I like mine. it is very utilitarian in looks, but does a great job. Jfrost posted some good install instructions. with a full face helmet and some water resistant gear, I can ride in the rain with no visability problems. Smart move keeping the Buddy. You would never want to fine yourself scooterless if your other one is in the shop

I have the slipstream & do like it. The right side mounting post sheared off at the screw & I emailed the company about it. They sent a new pair right out. The key is getting enough lock-tite on the screws so they don't vibrate loose.

Cuppine vs Slipstreamer 66 windshield

Did I go to the wrong site? At this price of $81 I would take the Cuppini. $66 was a hell of a price!

Hey wacky08, you're STILL in the wrong place!
The Slipstreamer Spitfire 06 is not the Slipstreamer Scooter 66 windshield!!
The Spitfire is designed to clamp onto motorcycle handlebars, and WILL NOT FIT onto a scooter!
