Spark Plug.

Post by Irishrover »

I am still running the original plug, anyone changed theirs yet, if so did you go with the same type or Iridium?

I didn't post a reply when you wrote this because I didn't have an iridium at the time. But I do now. I mainly got it because I changed my spark plug wire to a performance one, so I thought I should change my plug out too. So the most noticeable thing is that on cold nights my Blur starts right up with no hesitations. Last winter this was not the case with the old plug. But besides that I noticed no other difference in performance or fuel efficiency.

Smoother idle and easier starts with iridium. No noticeable difference in performance. That goes for both "performance" coil and stock coil with the iridium. I got the iridium because it's supposed to last longer than the standard type.
