just got a fax from GE indicating they are dropping their Funancing program effective Jan 30, 2010....this finance plan was utilized by folks purchasing SYM, ETON and a few more scoot mfrs.... :(

That's not a bad thing. It might let the different manufacturer's work with other creditors that offer reasonable credit rates or even "deals".

other creditors source of financing are slim to none....lenders for powersports have vanished from the face of the earth....thankfully, Sheffield is still around servicing Genuine, Kymco and Vespa product purchases....the rest of the dealers/brands are going to feel the grim effect of GE's announcement.. :(

We financed both the MC and the scooter through Funancing. We still have a few more months before it's paid off though.
Yes, it's fast. No, you can't ride it.
