When did Genuine start the thank you T-shirts?
I'm just curious. About a month after I bought my 2009 Stella, I got a thank you card, keychain, and T short saying "Share the love, its Genuine."
I didn't get any of this with my 2008 Buddy, which I bought in August 2008.

I think it's safe to say they started the Tshirt thing after Aug 08.
Lol, actually, I think it was in Sept, but I missed the mark when I got mine in June 08. I can't say I blame them, though, they were struggling to get scooters out to people in Summer 08. Tshirts would have been too much to keep up with!

Yep, in Sept 08 when the new 09's started coming in. Right after you and I bought our scoots. I still got a good scooter out of the deal, so I'm OK with it. Besides, I heard a nasty rumor that I just made up that those shirts aren't even DOT certified.Anachronism wrote:So perhaps it started for sales in 2009?rabbitgod wrote:I bought an 09 in 08, I didn't get a TShirt

I believe those who bought '09 models received at least a t-shirt, however Genuine doesn't have some master database of everyone who buys a scoot so it was up to dealers to send the correct size and other info. Of course, it's also possible some may have just fallen through the cracks somehow.

They send out random stuff every now and again. It used to be candy, specifically Red-Hots. Swag's always fun to get, especially when you're not expecting it.
