It's been awhile since I've posted here, but I just just wanted to announce that its official, I'm a winter scooterist. I commuted to the office this morning in 27 degree weather, my coldest ride yet. I didn't have any neck riding gear so I used a scarf and it worked perfectly to keep my neck warm. When I bought my skoot last fall I was wondering if I'd continue riding when it got cold.
Anyone else still riding?
I'm officially a winter rider

If you've got questions about cold weather gear, there's threads for that too. Welcome back, Winter's a little different 'round here.

We have a garage, and 2wheelers aren't allowed. I fought it for a while, but I'd get ticketed and towed.TVB wrote:What's stopping you from using the 4-wheeler lot for your 2-wheeler?redcass wrote:I'd love to ride right now, our hi temps are above freezing for the first time in weeks!
But our 2-wheeler lot is where they dumped all the snow, so there's no place to park!

My girlfriend threatened to beat up a security guard at her work because he was giving her crap about parking her Scarabeo in the parking deck. She went all Barracuda on his butt. Now she can not only park up there, they let her park in the corner behind a pillar so her scoot won't get hit.
I love her because she's as dangerous as a fire in a nursing home
