Someone is trying to beat my record

Post by Kaos »

Looks like Scooterworks and the NASRA are trying to build the world's fastest Buddy. They're starting with a Lil International 50cc.

We'll see if I loose my title as fastest Buddy :)

Well they may have a few a mods behind them. But you have mods and the collective will of the entire Modern Buddy community behind you! They don't stand a chance :+!:

Yeah, we can't let them take the title!

On that note, does anyone have or know where I can get a reasonably priced CN250 or CH250 Horizontal?

Hehe, careful with that. There's also a bunch of clones out there in the 250 scoot range featured in finer crates and website-only dealers everywhere.

Yep, I'm aware of that. Been keeping my eye out for an older elite for a bit to pull one from. Or a wrecked sym.

Looks like a pseudo-factory effort to dethrone a privateer! Your accomplishments, Kaos, are like a private team winning the 24 Hours at Daytona over all the factory-sponsored and supported teams.

You da man!

I saw a couple of motors in the grand bazaar on totalruckus.com. seems like a couple of guys started swaps and either got in over their head or lost interest. and a couple of completed Honda 250 swaps for inspiration.

On a side note; if you two race. I'll make the drive to see it. The distance from kaos to Scootertrash is about the same as ST to me. I'll bring my camera and a fire extinguisher.

Wondering if they're working on it for the Motorcycle Land Speed Trials? I know Motorsport is working on a 250.

Bonneville Salt Flats, that's where history is written and records are broken. I can score a cheap flight on Delta to SLC for that!

I'm just outside of Ogden. Probably an hour or so from the Idaho border. A couple of weeks notice I could work out a Fri and Monday off work, I think. Maybe mid to late August. I need to make sure I have my ride dialed in.

NASRA and Midqwest Scooter Racing League

Post by BoneGirl »

I'm just so psyched we have some racing opportunities our way now. I didn't have my dead man switch in time for the 1st Twist -n Gone Dragrace in May and we were in Indiana for the Gasoline Rally last weekend so I missed the 2nd race. But looks like I'll be ready to rock and roll July and August.

We had a blast on Practice Day a couple weeks ago for the MSRL Track Racing. I am SO loving the opportunity to do this stuff!

Let's go all out and put together a Salt Lake City scooter rally weekend, complete with rides, camping, gymkhana... and the main event, Kaos vs. ScooterTrash out on the salt, for titles.

hey kaos, are you gonna have to upgrade the brakes in order to stop that beast? It will be interesting to see what you have to do fabrication wise in order to make it fit.
