So, I had to take Stella 500 miles to the Camp Scoot Rally this past weekend. I had a friend offer me the use of their trailer, but, alas, I don't have a hitch. I had managed to squeeze the Buddy into the back of my 2001 Dodge Caravan previously, so I decided to try Stella. Here is the photographic evidence:
First, I removed the windscreen and the mirrors.
Then I removed to forward bolts on the rear rack assembly and tilted it backward.
Using a ramp loaned to me by another friend, I rolled Stella right in. Just a little lean was required to get the headset through the opening. Tie downs were placed on the points used to hook the seats in. How convenient!
Packed the rest of my stuff in and away I went.
Where the scenery looked like this.
and this.
Who needs a trailer, anyway?
