I'm going to make a Bundy.

This is the inspiration:

The 5th generation VW Golf (once again called the Rabbit in the US market). The color scheme is called Harlequin -- they did it in 1996 with the 3rd generation golf as well.

(Yeah, it takes some getting used to.)

Anyway, here's more info on the greyscale version:

So, I'm going to paint some of the panels on my Buddy black, some white, and some silver. We'll see how it looks... (I've already picked up some of the running Rabbit logos to go where the stock Buddy logos are on the rear).

Mostly Buddy with some inspiration borrowed from a 'Bunny' yields a Bundy.

Hopefully, more like Kelly than Al. :D
Huh? What just happened?

Just a question.

When you paint the plastic parts on your Buddy, what paint will you use?
1 part, 2 part emron, awlgrip...

Do you brush, roll or spray?

What sort of surface prep is involved? Do you knock off the gloss, prime and then put on a few coats of color?

TIA

I'm going to be using an airbrush and following pretty much these steps:

I'm sure I'll end up doing it at least twice, because I'm really not particularly comfortable painting at the moment.
