After a year my wife finally took a ride.

Post by Lotrat »

I bought my Rattler last April and my wife hasn't had much interest in riding it. A couple times around the block and a few minutes in a parking lot. Last weekend I spent some time following behind and leading her around the block, around the neighborhood, town to the beach, and finally to downtown Carlsbad. She's got lots of cupcake time, but never wanted to ride on her own... til now. She's hooked. She wants to ride every day now. Here's her "I'm a badass now" pose... Should be a fun summer.

We have friends who let us use their condo in Carlsbad. We hope to bring our scoots down next time we go. Maybe we will see you around. My words for your wife-You go girl! Have fun riding together.

We will see if it sticks. I need to swap out her cupcake gear for better stuff just because the likelihood of her going down while on the front seat is higher than when she was on the rear seat. Statistically speaking anyway. I went down the first time I rode and she never has, so she's already doing better than I did as a new rider. Anyways, she's excited about riding and I want to keep it going.
