are these designed to keep on the seat while riding or are they like the cool ass covers that are made to be taken off and stuffed in the glovebox?

No, they're a permanent (but easily-removed) cover. Cheaper than re-upholstering, though you could easily use one to replace the existing covering.

I have a Cheeky Seats cover and <3 it. Black vinyl on my black GTS. If they didn't have lil tags, you'd never know it was a cover.

Yeah, Mine fit great as well. I met the owners at the East Coast Classic this weekend. Great folks!, lots of good design ideas and good quality work.

I have a fur one ( comes off in 5 seconds when rain is near) and she makes plenty of waterproof styles, too. A great way to accessorize a scoot. And no, she didn't pay me for this post. LOL

I am going to order a custom made Union Jack one. All ready have a Union Jack helmet, and go by the nick name the Royal Rider by my colleagues.

I love it. Just need to get permission from the wife to spend 85 dollars for something that is just aesthetics :)

I have two covers and they are totally worth the investment! They not only keep the seat cool, they also add a little extra "personality" to the scoot. I've gotten a lot of comments and complements on mine, especially the Peace cover.

Pics in this thread.

Hi Everyone!

Again, many thanks, Uklemond, I think your wife needs to be tempted with her own seat cover, as for yours, this will set your volume to 11!

Lokky yours is on the way, can't wait to see how it looks on your Stella! We made a new strap for you rather than a cover, looks better I think, you just attach your clips.

kmrcstintn yours is on the way too, let me know what you think when it gets there!

Glad people are noticing the iScoot Scubadoobie, and tc8105 remember no riding nekkid on that fuzzy cover!!

I hope we get to meet up with all of you soon!

I'm on the fence...I can't get all the wrinkles out no matter how I mount it; the logo in the back looks off center, and the stitching that follows the lines on the seat seem to be crooked or I can't get it mounted straight (this is VERY noticeable on the nubuck material); and the stretch cord won't stay tensioned (either I'm tugging too tight or the cinch isn't working)

hopefully I get a chance to meet the Cheeky Seats crew @ Meltdown rally next month and learn what I'm doing wrong or get a replacement if it isn't made to spec...

for now I'm riding the stock seat and just leaving it alone since I'm working more with on-call obligations with the new shift...not enough time for side projects right now...

^Ooh, that doesn't sound right. Mine's not nubuck, but fleece, but nevertheless all the seams are straight and match the original seams. Fit is really excellent. Is it possible to try fitting it another way? I kept trying to put mine on backwards at first, lol. I'm sure they will work with you -- I would think there should not be any issues like you describe.

Hello all! That's definitely not right, that cover was test fit on my Buddy before we shipped it and it fit like a charm! Can you email us directly at suzy@cheekyseats.com with perhaps a photo, or pm your phone number and we'll see if we can get to the bottom of it.

***update***

the shortcomings were ME and NOT the seat cover...

I was pulling too much to one side when mounting the cover; now that I have it centered it sits symmetrical and looks much better...

thanks to Cheeky Seats for contacting me and offering support...

Thanks for this thread! (I haven't been back to MB in a while...)

I was totally looking into getting my Italia (125cc, apparently I'm old school) seat done at an upholstery shop in town.

But so many choices!!!

Anybody post pictures of one of these covers on their Italia? Mind giving me a linky link?
