these jeans do make my butt look big: a review

Post by Aguacate »

Sartso women's kevlar jeans are adorable, and I'm sure if I could get both legs into them they would be protective. I think they must run really small--no seriously. I will be returning them and not buying another pair until I can try them on in person. Will try not to crash until then. [/i]

Joe Rocket pants run small too, or at least skinny. I wear a medium in their jackets, but an XXL in the pants.

Shift jeans

Much truer to size. Too bad they are discontinued. I am glad I got the last pair at local shop!

Odd, my Sartso's fit true to size like any other jeans. Even get a bit saggy when they're stretched out and in need of a wash.

jean sizing

Post by Aguacate »

I bought the Sartsos in an 8--I usually wear a 4-6 in pants. I couldn't pull them up past mid thigh! I got a size 6 in the Shift jeans and they are a perfect fit. The inability to shop online for jeans is going to save me some money for sure

Sure you're not reading European sizes rather than North American?

Women's jeans fitting and sizing is a totally different kettle of fish than men's. That's all I feel qualified to say about it.

regardless shopping online is irritating.

When purchasing some new 'club clothes' from a site, I ordered a few different kinds of pants, all with roughly the same dimensions.

1 pair has a 33" waist, and leaves room to spare, looks great.
#2 pair has a supposed 34" waist, but crushes my kidneys and makes me look like a blood sausage.
#3 would fit in the waist, but the legs are skinny that it won't go over my thighs. I'm fairly short and built, so I'm used to tight, but these were made for very slender folks!

my Sliders 3.0 have treated me pretty well though, and fit reasonably true to size.
