Mirror Mods?

Post by louden »

Hey all;

I'm a bit wide on top - and that causes a problem on the blur - no matter how I adjust the mirrors, my blind spot in the back is enourmous... I figure that would be best handled by convex mirrors - hopefully positioned a little wider on my Blur.

Anyone know of a good mod to do that?

Thanks...

Any auto parts store would have those little stick-on wide angle mirrors... they're lame, but cheap, it might be worth a try before you spend a lot of money on something else.

I'm pretty girth-y, and I'm happy w/my blur mirrors, but i've noticed on my old vespas, the angle of the stalk (front-to-back, as it pivots on its mount) makes a big difference, have you messed with the stalk or just the mirrors themselves? The dealer presumably mounts the mirrors, so maybe they put them on at too little or too great an angle, and loosening the mounting bolt and pushing them forward or pulling them back a bit will give you a bit more range.
