Did you check out the other stuff they have for the blur? They have carbon fiber body parts. It must be a great scooter in Japan for them to do these parts.

Yes, I could go nuts at that place - I'd like:
License plate mount
Carbon Fiber tank surround
That awesome exhaust...

Too bad I'm all broke and stuff now

Wow. How do I get that exhaust? And does the FI have to me remapped?

the full exhaust is about $1000. I translated the site to english. This is a BALLER EXHAUST. They also make in Full Titanium.

Warning, Will Robinson! The Blur engine, like all modern FI engines, is a lean burn motor. I would not want to run this exhaust can without an ECU re-map, and I for one don't know if the Blur can be re-mapped, or even if the software is available for a re-map. It does look pretty spiffy though.

Good for you, rattler. You're going to really like it.
At first service be sure and put in full-synthetic motor oil, and full-synthetic gear lube. And, if you want your new SS to come alive install some 13.5 gram Dr. Pulley sliders in the variator while you're at it. Accelleration will improve and you may gain some top-end mph as well.

Thanks for the advice. Full synthetic Motul oil is what I will be using.

Where do you recommend getting the sliders from?

Call Buggy Parts NW (you can Google 'em) and ask for item #UNI-SR-20x15-1 in 13.5 gram. Cost was $32.00 shipped. My dealer charged me $20.00 to install them. If you really want some performance, install a Dr. Pulley HiT clutch. You'll be doing wheel stands.
P.S. Resist the urge toward 12 gram sliders. Your accelleration from dead stop will be impressive but your gas mileage and top-end will suffer.

All we need is a Blur 220i owner that lives near Miami, FL, that would be willing to let Dorby use his bike to mock up some brackets and we could have a custom exhaust.

Or someone that is willing to take their stock exhaust off and send it to him to get the right measurements.

Scooterworks also carries the Dr. Pulley sliders.

I contacted Carlos of autotech355 about getting the R5 Factory parts, but he says even though the parts were designed and made in Taiwan, R5 is a Japanese company and he cannot get them.

Does the blur 220 have the same exhaust configuration as the blur 150?

Did you notice the "complete" modified Blur? $5,900!!! Crazy. 1000 for an exhaust is also ridiculous. I can buy two SS performance cans for my BMW for less than that. It should be $4-500 max.
