The one that almost got away
You know the story, You see a Blackjack on craigslist. You contact the guy almost a month after it has been posted. You offer him $300 less than he is asking. He asks to think about it. He declines your offer the next day after you contact him. You go out the day and but a 1987 Honda Elite CH80. You put the Honda in for complete service and have the new tires you bought on changing from tube to tubeless and but the $35 Dollar Owner’s manual and the $30 dollar original tool kit. Then the guy contacts you offering your dream Blackjack. You now have to take a loan out but you have your Blackjack. Here she is.

For the plastics, Krylon Fusion is your friend. Works well on those old plastics. The one's on my '87 were foggy in color when I got it. Looked a lot better with a good cleanup and a shot of Krylon. Now, about those damn deadlights...too bad the Spacy 50 was so rare!RoaringTodd wrote:I have a 93 Elite, and it is not as sharp looking as yours! Your black is BLACK and mine has faded to grey. I'd take both!
At what point does a hobby become an addiction? I'm uncertain, but after the twelfth scooter, it sorta feels like the latter...
Seriously...I've lost count...

As for the Elite looking like Legos
I will say I see what your saying but leme tell you she is fun to ride and in perfect condition. I know my Black Jack is Da Bomb and rides awsome but she took a little work, a lota cursing and lotsa sweet and screaming to get her close to fully functional.

As for my beloved Atomic wedge Black Jack Seat.
With the good you have to accept the bad and I will pass on giving up my seat. A black Jack is the sum of her parts. I have seen Black Jack's stripped of their Solo Seat and Nope I'll keep mine. Thank anyway.

Racks and seat
I see the early indentions from the rack install. I understand and will keep an eye on it I know it is a Solo seat and maybe keeping it single rider. Thank you again for the heads up. I may even shape the thing to decrease the indention.

Very nice looking! That's how I would set up my Blackjack if I had one.
