NBR: Anything obviously wrong with this ad..?

Claims to have a valid texas title, and will deliver for $1800. Anything I'm missing here?

EDIT: It looks like a 1980 Vespa PX 150. He confirmed it's a 150cc model.

Not much there to go on, but it looks like what it says it is. Nice seat.

(It is a PX15O.)

The ad said 2k, but otherwise, on the surface it seems like a good deal.... I'm suspicious.

Well I worked him down to $1,800 ;)

But you're right. I'm still kind of in that mode of "I want it.. but should I?"

Get the frame numbers and motor numbers and check them here

Looks like a straight scooter to me but really not much to go by there.

If it is a 1980 it should be a P150e...not a PX

I probably could if I knew how to drive a manual scooter. :P

The guy lives in north Austin and I'm in south Austin.. I guess I could come see him at his house and get him to ride it in front of me to get an idea of how it runs.

The Stella I met yesterday was delivered from Austin Tx. over the weekend. A 2005 it has only 125 miles on it. I looked at it closely today, and for 125 miles it does have some rust on the rear rack. A couple of bumps and a Texas flag on the front. It was suppose to be delivered to the Vail Valley, but the new owners had to drive to Denver to get it because of a truck breakdown. They paid a $359 delivery charge. It doesn't surprize me one bit from that geographical area, that someone would buy it and not use it. And now that a divorce or whatever is in the making ....... Austin is an amazing town. Drive down and pick it up and see the bats, and listen to music.

lol, sorry I just read taht you are from Austin. If you go through Moody on your new Scoot, stop by Greenbrier GC and say Hi! to my brother Jim. Tell him his sister sent you. It's the family business.
