Yeah. experienced that firsthand as well. :D
Our Buddy 125 is definitely quicker than the ET 4 150 (predecessor to the Leader engine.)

Here's hoping that you're back both on your feet and 2 wheels very soon!

On the road to recovery

Post by BoneGirl »

I have been worried sick about Philip and have heard back about his condition.

His surgery was a complicated one which involves quite the healing time, just like Eric had originally stated.

He has battled pneumonia the last week which pretty much takes the wind out of you when you're already down.

So he and his medical team are moving forward and I believe it just may take more time than we had hoped he would need to get back on his Stella again!

So lots of rest by Philip and lots of prayers and positive vibes are needed from the MB family to get him on his way to a speedier recovery.

I know how much he appreciates our concern for him and once he attains a higher level of energy and returns to work, I am sure we'll hear from him.

Hope this gives you a sigh of relief as it did me. Sometimes I have a difficult time believing "No news is good news".

We are scheduled to have a Genuine Ride in Cincinnati tomorrow and you better believe we're all going to be riding with our hearts and minds set on Philip because it won't be the same without the #1 Scooter Dork along.

Get well, Philip.

Hey y'all... I just got word that our pal Mr. McCaleb is doing well. Though he is feeling pretty wiped out, is sleeping a lot, and wishes he had more energy so he could get life back to normal, he is clearly (IMO) on the mend as he still managed to drop a little hint about a " juicy piece of news" coming soon! That's our boy, always thinking of the next big thing

I know all your thoughts and good wishes posted here have meant the world to him.

Cheers.

Phil:

Good to know that your recovery has reached the stage where you're qualified for a management position at my company. If you could manage to drop about 40 I.Q. points during rehab (ask - they've got a special exercise for that) a position on our board of directors would not be out of the question.

Keep plugging.

Just checking in after a long time away from this board, and sorry to read this news... but happy he's on the mend.

My Blackjack has been my workhorse commuter for YEARS now, the joyous ride that focuses me in the morning then clears my mind and refreshes me in the early evening. You've done so much for me without ever meeting me, and I'm grateful.

Happy healing....

Post by BoneGirl »

Cincinnati had their Genuine Appreciation Ride last Sunday without Philip but we all signed a giant card for him so he knows how much we're all thinking of him, praying for him and missing him on the scooter circuit. He'll be back better than ever, I feel it in my BONES! 8)

I'm really, really, very glad to hear this. I'd become quite worried as well, since I had pm'ed him, but not heard back.

I hope he kicks the pneumonia right quick and is up and feeling better soon!

I hope when he gets well he'll be able to do the scooter rides that were planned. We didn't get to see him here in Austin.

I agree. So bummed out he couldn't make the Genuine Appreciation Ride in September. I figure sooner or later I'll hook up with him. I have my Scooter Dork shirt ready and waiting. :P
