crash bar review (anyone try these)

Post by toeknee »

http://www.ebay.com/itm/HQ-CHROMED-SIDE ... 402wt_1330

seeing as tho no one responded to my 'custom chrome' thread, i figured i would give another try to finding some crash bars (on the cheep)

anyone have any experience with these??
looks pretty cheap but, but i plan on powder coating them black anyways, but 40buck$ shipping is a big nut to drop if they suck..

love to hear anyone's input on these cowl bars.

thanks

These are really funky looking. I would want to see a photo of them mounted on a PX/LML/Stella before purchasing.

I have these from Scooterworks:

They are pretty sturdy and fit well.

I realize they cost more than the ones you linked to on ebay, but They do fit, and are high quality.

I use the same chrome that slotrod has on that beautiful 2-tone Stella. I like the fit and they are pretty easy to remove for flat repair ...etc

At a rally my buddy won these pieces of chrome and gave them to me to sale. i have just been sitting on them.

PM me if you/or anyone has any interest.

Definitely look different. I think they would look pretty cool; I’m kind of digging the squared off foot pegs, but it looks like the chrome finish could be questionable from the pictures.
