I do not need more scooters.

Really. Really I don't.

Why does craigslist tempt us so?

It makes it even worse when the seller emails you and drops the price $200 for expressing interest before you even look at them.

Not "it", but rather, "them".

Trying to get out of "accumulate" and into "refurbish" mode myself. One of the few nice things about having multiple projects is while you're waiting on parts for one, you can make some headway on another one.

Besides, I suspect you wanted a "real" project and the Primavera "hobby kit" wasn't challenging enough.

I have had no luck with CL in my area... but that may have something to do with me being snotty about color. I'm glad though, to not have these temptations haunting me...

The red and white one? I saw that, but I already have a Series I V9A.

I thought you had two scoots that you liked in your sights. What happened?

I look on Craigslist occasionally, then regret it. Last one I missed was an '84 Yamaha Salient (Riva 50).

Last one I got, the '03 Zuma, was the result of months of talk with my barber. I was simply gonna fix it for him...

No small frames thanks. Already have (most of) one in boxes.

I'd say what I've got my eye on but I don't want to loose it by blabbing.

I've had as many as 9. Now I make myself sell/trade at least one before acquiring another.

Same number I was at. I actually kept my New Year's resolution and sold two before buying one.

I keep looking my self. However I think the 4 Motorcycles and the 2 scooters in the garage is plenty. I have been searching for parts like performance shocks, forks and other go fast parts. I search all the time, UGH
