Oil leak help

Post by SuperCyclone.81 »

I am not familiar at all with the oil injection on these bikes and am wondering if anyone can give me some insight/solutions here. I went out to get on my scoot this afternoon after it had been sitting all weekend and found a little pool of oil. After I wiped it up, it seemed like the oil was pretty clean and still had some color to it so it made me think that I have leaky hose clamp or something.

<a href="http://s1059.photobucket.com/user/Super ... e.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1059.photobucket.com/albums/t42 ... 6e1dae.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo IMG_0494_zps8e6e1dae.jpg"/></a>

So instantly got down and looked under it, only to see lots of leaked oil. Or at least more than I am comfortable with taking into account its 2T nature.

<a href="http://s1059.photobucket.com/user/Super ... 7.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1059.photobucket.com/albums/t42 ... e10c87.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo IMG_0495_zps25e10c87.jpg"/></a>

So something is obviously out of whack, so I took the seat off to get another vantage point and again, more leaked oil.

And a close up

If anyone knows whats going on here or if anyone could even snap a shot of their set up for me to look at as a guide would be awesome. Thanks in advance for anyone willing to help out!

Hey cyclone try checking the connection hose from the tank to the engines mine was installed kind of wonky causing an odd bend in it. I developed a small leak as well.
