Cool. I like the looks of CB500x, adventure bike version. I'm not sure they are in the showrooms yet.

they are rather hard to come by here for some reason. my friend ordered one in black and since an extra one came in i snatched it. it accelerates so quickly i'm getting spoiled fast!

Since Kawasaki ended production of the Ninja 500 in 2009 or so, there has really been little offered in the half litre class for the street. The Royal Enfield is 500cc is nice, but is not really a high performance motorcycle.

That's a great-looking new addition to a nice collection of bikes! 60's Batgirl would be jealous, methinks. :D I'm looking forward to hearing how you like your new Honda.

couldn't be happier---it's fast and smooth rolling off the throttle, rapid acceleration, pretty narrow and light so very maneuverable. It's a great looking thing too--gets plenty of attention. gotta say tho i've got to get to the track and learn how to corner better at speed, i mean it took me several years to get really good at it on scooters and it's kinda different i'm finding on a moto. I've gotten use to the position, but after 4 or 5 hours in the seat my butt hurts!! in 4 days i put over 600 miles and took it in for the first service

BatGirl got a new Bat Bike? why was this not in the news?!

BatGirl, would you say this bike may be near ideal for the scooterist making a jump to cycles? it sounds lightweight, nimble, easy to manage? how are you finding the experience now that you are down the line a month with it?

how is it in urban traffic compared with the scooter? much shifting NEEDED?

this moto is perfect, only i'll be ready for more power next year! i love how easy it is to shift , how quickly it accelerates, and for lane splitting it's pretty narrow. 8)

The Hypermotard is a beauty, but the Monster 690 fits the budget a lot better.
