I upgraded to a new scoot on Friday - was previously driving an '09 Honda Metropolitan, but after getting a chance to ride a Buddy 50 for a day and a half, I fell in love - hard - and also realized I'd kinda outgrown my Metro. A good friend of mine runs a scooter shop in town, and told me he had a seafoam Buddy 50 coming in - so I snagged it.
I will say, being friends with the shop owner means I get to do cool things like unbox my own scooter!
There she is, in all her glory!
And that's a shot of her with my old Honda Metropolitan. Hope she finds a good home, she was a good scoot!

Oh man, I was bouncing up and down when the delivery truck pulled in, haha. It was awesome getting to unbox it myself!wheelbender6 wrote:It must be fun to unwrap it yourself.
Speaking of DIY scooter stuff (sort-of), I just added a rear rack and trunk to my scoot with minimal help (mostly I just had my husband hold the stupid brackets for the Soft case while I screwed the base onto my rear rack).
