Impossible to use turn signals

Post by toot »

I guess my hand is too small or thumb is too short. I just cannot for the life of my use the signal switch. I have to move my hand and I always throttle down and it is just not safe. What are your techniques??

wow..... you must have some small hands... just slide your hand closer. You can still use the throttle even if your hand is up against the start of the hand grip.
Just learn to slide your hand over while still working the throttle.
practice!!!

Small hand could be a hassle with reaching for the clutch lever too, I'll bet!
good luck

Different type??

Post by toot »

Can you swap out the switch with the type that you do not have to reach all the way over to change.. Like the one on a Vespa GT 200 It just push from the middle??

is this what your switch position looks like?

I'm not sure you could mount that old Vespa switch securely in an easier to reach place...

maybe we need a picture of your hand on the throttle and you trying to reach the switch with your thumb...
