Can the LML 200 engine be imported to the U.S.?

If they aren't going to release the Stella 200 anytime soon, can we at least import the engine and stuff it in a 150?

Seriously, if it wasn't too costly, I would do this. It would be very interesting to know what the engine would cost and whether it fits in the 150 frame of if the frames are different.

I am looking into it. Apparently you also need the bracket that attaches the engine to the frame. There might be some electrical issues too. Exhausts and carbs are also different. The frames are the same.

I expect this endeavor to cost just under $2000 per kit, give or take.

Assuming I can find a reliable source, is anybody else interested?

Anybody interested, pm me.

To be honest I'm not sure it's worth it. Yes the 200 is a torquey beast but you won't gain much top speed and getting parts that side of the pond could be a pain in the arse.
