Euro PX seat for Stella 4T

Post by quen047 »

Hi all, does anyone know if these new Euro PX seats will fit a 4t? Scooterwest lists that it will fit a 2t. I know the chassis/body on the 2t and 4t are slightly different but I don't know if that affects how a seat mounts.

I can't open the link for some reason.

Most 2t seats one fit the 4t because the 4t has a raised tank. Unless the seat has a cut out underneath to allow for this it won't fit.

This doesn't mean you can't make it fit though ;)

Haha, I will call scooterwest and if I can make it fit I will. I'm finally getting ready to ditch the Sava whitewalls after 5000+ miles and when I get blackwalls I think I'm going to want to go with a black seat to match. I do dig the look of that Euro PX seat.

I like the design of that seat a lot. Looks like it marries the best parts of the stock seat with a corsa seat. Dig it.

I was finally able to talk to scooterwest. Turns out the evap system on the 4t is what gets in the way— ditch that and it fits. I've disabled the evap on mine anyway so maybe it's time to get rid of all the pieces around it. I will post a pic once I get around to ordering one.

I just bought one of these for my 2T. Should have it tomorrow. Don't anticipate any installation problems, but I'll post up a photo/review if anyone cares to know how it looks/rides.

Great, I would love to see it and hear how the install process goes (although for a 2T it should be no problem)
