It's bigger on the inside

Post by Witch »

Along with the help of AWinn6889 and her boyfriend, I've started to turn my new-to-me Buddy into a tiny little TARDIS. Here's a few photos of the progress up to now, and more can be found on my Facebook album.

Stripped down and naked!

Most of the panels painted and curing.

As I said, this is still a work in progress. I'm still waiting on a few more decal bits, and there are other little references I have yet to add to it... like a license plate frame with stripes resembling a particular scarf. :)

And of course, with it being a 170, the "bigger on the inside" joke will always apply. :nerd:

Do you mind if I share the pics if I link back to this thread?

Go ahead!

I'm just slightly bummed I won't be able to have it completely finished by this weekend for the 50th anniversary.

As ScooterFile seemed to be the only blog that hadn't yet found a way to post about the Who 50th, I posted it there: http://www.scooterfile.com/oems/genuine ... he-inside/

So cool

Amy Pond: She's the TARDIS?
The Eleventh Doctor: And she's a woman! She's a woman and she's the TARDIS.

Ali and Tom are pretty hip with that stuff, and Ali is a ninja with the artsy stuff, so...sweet!

A lot more vinyl since I posted last. I ordered most of it, but did the license plate frame myself. And thus I now have a new appreciation for anyone else who cuts this stuff themselves.

Fezzes are cool.

I couldn't resist the Pentium parody.

Sonic screwdriver, Circular Gallifreyan, and another Adipose.

The stripes were extremely tedious, but I like how they turned out.

I met a lovely companion with my TARDIS today!

Eight points if you recognize who she is.
