Gas cap

Post by 3angieyou »

Anyone know where to drill the 2012 stella gas cap? No where on it looks logical to me.

Most folks just seem to just drill right through the top with a 1/8" to 3/16" bit. Personally, I think a hole that big might allow sloshing fuel to spurt out.

Before you drill, try removing the evap hose that goes into the tank just below the gas cap. You get the same effect as drilling the gas cap. If nothing changes, it's easier to reattach an evap hose than fill a hole in your gas cap.
At what point does a hobby become an addiction? I'm uncertain, but after the twelfth scooter, it sorta feels like the latter...

Seriously...I've lost count...

Seven mopeds ...that's still manageable...

I use a 1/16". I mean, I would if I did that.

If one were to remove the tube for the evap hose what would be the benefits and negatives. I sometimes have pressure issues especially after filling up.
