Share Your GoPro Scooter Videos!

Post by blackrod »

Hi Gang,

I wanted to start a post for people to share the GoPro scooter videos. It would be great to see what everybody is doing to capture the joy of riding scooters.

Here is my first GoPro short video 'Scooter Kingdom Come'.

Hope you all enjoy and look forward to seeing your videos.

Best,
Ross

So I was trying out my new camera earlier this summer on a local 35 mph rural road, and ended up with a bit of a surprise. Postscript: the county sheriff paid a visit to the driver, who was surprised to learn from them that he had inadvertently found fame on YouTube.

Here is the link:

And here is another one from a small group ride this summer:

Clearly I have much to learn about videography, but these are still fun.

Bob, I just have to ask why the police paid a visit to the driver? 20 views on YouTube, in my opinion, does not count as fame.

Where I live, had I actually notified the police that I had been passed on the double yellow and had video evidence to prove it, I would expect nothing less than for the cop smack me in the head for wasting his time. That is only after the cop finished laughing at me.

If that is the worst thing that ever happens to you while riding, you are one lucky person.

Dave,

I'm using a pretty loose definition of "fame" here, I have no delusions of grandeur.

I actually called to see if they would be interested in the images, and the response was positive. We live in a mostly rural county, where this seems to count as a substantive infraction.

The same thing happens with regularity when I'm driving the truck, there just doesn't seem to be an abundance of patience around here. I just try to keep from making it worse as much as I am able.

I just started a new post of a recent rally I attended, i'll post the link here too. I don't use a go pro, i've got a contour roam, does the job quite well.
Check out my youtube, I've got a few other videos as well.
