Hola yall.
Apparently I'm in need of a starter relay for my 07' buddy 125, and I'm trying to find the right one.
Do yall know if I can only use an oem relay or would an aftermarket one like those gy6 ones work?
I thought it would be an easy Google search to find my answer but no....
Anyways thanks for your time.

Have you checked to make sure the problem is the relay?

Yes I have. At first I was wondering if it was the starter, but my neighbor suggested I try to bypass the relay to see what happens, so I touched the positive and negative on the relay and my buddy started right up without hesitation.BuddyRaton wrote:Have you checked to make sure the problem is the relay?
Today, I couldn't find the OEM relay but found a supposedly universal relay by Rick's Motorsports (model #65-403). The connector is different from the oem connector so I just cut the old wires and spliced them onto the new relay and BOOM, I'm ready to go for a scoot this fine Saturday afternoon!
