Greetings!
Is the top mount of the rear shock of lml 200 4t removable? If yes, can I bolt it on a bitubo rear shock top mounting bolt?
Bitubo for lml 200 4t

Since this is mostly a USA forum, you might not find out too much about the LML 200, as only the Stella 4T 150 and 125 Auto are imported to US. Perhaps you might ask this question over on ModernVespa.com? Lots of LML/Stella/Star folks from around the world.....

The 125/150 and 200 use the same rear shock.
Here's a picture of the stock P/PX Piaggio shock and the LML 4T shock (both are made by Escorts by the way). Except for the different mounting and the variable rate spring on the Piaggio, they look very similar. I wonder if the LML shock is just a P/PX shock with an eyelet screwed on.
Maybe some one should make an adapter for P/PX shocks to fit on the LML 4T.

Considering the top eyelet differs along with the obvious difference in progressiveness of the spring rate and not knowing how the valving differs between the two, are you wanting something that can be modified to fit a 4 stroke or are you looking for a shock that was purposely designed for your 4 stroke Stella. I know that LML has a decent foothold in Europe and they offer a 165cc Polini based (LML Star Corsa) racing version that has a different motor, brakes, suspension, wheels, tires, front mudguard, seat and graphics. LML had Ohlins do a suspension program years ago for the Star 2T scooters, but where these components went is one of the biggest mysteries of the last decade. If you're looking for different shocks for your 4T, I would get on the European forums and also do a Google search for the LML 150/200 scooters. I'm afraid you will find that what you desire will cost more than you'll be willing to spend or maybe not? Good luck.
