SIP Tubeless Rims + Vee Rubber = Yes!!!

Post by BigDaddy SnakeOiler »

I was not happy with the stock tires and the folks down at Philadelphia Scooters just happened to have a pair of SIP tubeless rims sitting around. All the employees there ride on Vee tires so I loaded 'em up. They had never put a pair on a 4 stroke so were unsure if it would fit but there were no problems.
It's like a whole new bike. The missing piece of the puzzle to me. Was at 55 without feeling a thing. The ride's not as smooth that's for sure, but the feel of the road and the the wide steadiness is fantastic.

I did this about a year ago. Best decision I have made. Not only do the look cool as hell, and I don't have to worry about the tube thing, but for me, they do seem a bit smoother than the stock tires.

Good choice!

Nice choice, I have them on my stella and I run the 100/90-10 Michelin on them, the bike feels so much better.
Speed is only a matter of money...How fast do you want to go?

I got the VRM 351, it's what all the guys at Philly Scooters use. The rim size is 2.1 with a 100/90 tire.
The leaning I've been doing is obscene.
