Its Blur time in Denver

Post by Kennyr44 »

Been in the 70's in Denver and Ive been riding daily. Ive had a shake on takeoff so I replaced the rollers back to the new stock ones I replaced 1,600 miles ago. I also sanded the glazed clutch linings in the transmission hub. Smooth takeoff now.

Glad it worked. When cars had drum brakes, premature lockup could sometimes be fixed by sanding the shoes. It worked on my Plymouth Duster.

You can also hold the rear brake and rev the engine up to clean up the clutch plates :)
