Hi Folks,
I came across this forum after searching for performance upgrades to my PGO-Gmax 150. The stock 150 engine is ok but it is time for an upgrade. I see PGO sell the GMAX 220i so I am considering swapping the 220i in for the 150 (if I can find one) or building a complete big bore, performance engine (4v head, big bore cylinder kit, stroker crank, carburetor, exhaust, clutches, etc).
I am still looking around for parts suppliers (including source for 220i engine, throttle body, efi, etc) so just researching at this point but I would like to hear from 220i owners and people who have upgraded their Blur/GMAX 150s to help determine which way to go.
Thanks in advance for your advice, suggestions and words of wisdom.
Chazz.

You cannot install a 220cc engine in a 150cc Blur frame, they are completely different. The most you can take a stock 150cc engine case is 206cc, but with a sacrifice in longevity. I am currently rebuilding and hotrodding the engine in my 2006 Blur, read here (topic28336.html) for more info on were I'm at (near bottom of post).
