Mirror fix?

Post by elektrobank »

I hate the mirrors, practically useless. Couldn't find any replacements that fit, I don't think they Buddy's match. I found these to raise the existing mirrors, was thinking they would help:

They're 10mm though, I couldn't find an 8mm, but they sell 10-8mm adaptors, which I'd also buy.

Would this work?

Or will this be enough?

To lift and seperate, you need these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/YAMAHA-Mirrors- ... 72&vxp=mtr

Your mirrors are the same as Yamaha, 8mm one lh, one rh. Some people use the stock yamaha C3 mirrors as a replacement.

I prefer to use 8mm to 10mm adapters and use these extenders with 10mm mirrors, less wobble:

Oops, I ordered these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007NIPI86

To make those work, I would need to get the correct bolts, anywhere I could buy just the bolts so I don't have to return them and get the others?

Any 10mm mirrors you'd recommend?

Thanks

You are going to have a tough time finding a left hand thread bolt to mount that to your roughhouse mirror base. In addition you will now need another right hand thread mirror to put in the extender.

Cancel your amazon order if you can.

I would order the Zuma extenders in the ebay link I provided earlier, and try them with your stock mirrors. It might just do the trick for what you are after.
