now the real waiting begins (not any more!)

Post by vitaminC »

Well, I finally did it! I can now say "I have a black Buddy"! :P

The hardest part is waiting. I didn't want to ride it home (couldn't, actually), so I have to wait until Wed night for it to be delivered

So far, all I have to show for my owenership is a reciept and the owners manual...

Even my GF is excited, and she typically doesn't care about my two-wheeled vehicles! Maybe I will finally be able to coax her out for a ride.

Is it Wed yet??

Congratultions! We're going to pick up my wife's Buddy this afternoon and I have to say I'm as excited as she is. Or maybe it's that she's as excited as I am. But considering that she was 100% ANTI-SCOOTER (or anti-me riding a scooter, whatever) one year ago she's come a long way.

So who knows? The GF may come around to wanting one of her own before too long.

I can only hope mine does. She's still a little upset over mine.

I got mine on Thursday, but it's been raining NON-STOP, so I haven't been able to get many miles logged.

Soon enough, soon enough.

I was supposed to get mine Thursday but it had a bent wheel...so they got the wheel in Friday and didn't get the wheel on and didn't even call me even though they said they would! So, I called this morning but it looks like I won't get it until Tuesday! This is going to be a long weekend. I guess I'll have to see if my wife will let me ride her pink one :\

Don't worry -- the delay will make Buddydom that much sweeter.

It's here! Buddy was delivered tonight, and I've had a chance to take a quick spin around the neighborhood; it was great! :D

Finally, I've got a reason to look forward to going to work

Next step: peeling off the stickers...

Personally, the stickers bother me more than the signals. Much as I think the scooter is great, I pretty much despise the name "Buddy." I think if people ask I will just have to tell them it's a "B125" or something similar.

I'm already making a list in my head of what I want to change
