Glovebox separate from legshield

Post by RoaringTodd »

Can the glove box be separated from the leg shield on a Stella? I've seen some Vespas without the glove box, and like the look.

There are 4 small 8mm bolts inside with clamps. Take those off and give a little tug.

I would leave the glove box on. I need all the storage I can get on a Stella. :)

You will leave the back if your indicator fittings as well as all the wiring exposed though.

Spiffy, would you update the link?

Yeah, you'd have to come up with some way to protect the wiring but other than that, there should be no issue with removing that box.
