BUDDY 50 Lowering Info?

Post by Bombz808 »

Hey guys. New here. Wanted to know if any of you have lowered your buddy? I've seen some awesome looking ones online.
Attached is a picture of my Buddy 50 :)

Congrats on your new scoot! Love that color and that it comes pre-fitted with the blackout kit. The low profile seat is an awesome first start for a shorter inseam. I know a few people have been posting about the lowered shock option that you can get, but not sure if there've been any "updates" from people actually making the change.

Lowered Buddy

Post by Clydeo »

My daughter is quite short, and we chose the Buddy mainly because it fit her so well. We didn't need the lower shock, the lower seat was enough to get her feet flat on the ground. She is about 5 feet tall. It makes the bike uncomfortable for me, but it is extremely easy to swap the seats back and forth as needed. The lower seat is not at all comfortable for the passenger when you are riding two up, but it is fine if one is riding solo.
